Judith Kay Wade, 82, Havana, Kansas passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Cremation with burial to follow in Havana Cemetery. The Family will greet visitors from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the chapel.

Judith was born August 21, 1941, in Linwood, Kansas to Frank and Alice (Carter) Rhoades. Following her high school graduation, Judith attended and graduated from nursing school and was employed as a nurse until her retirement in 2013. After her retirement, Judy enjoyed quilting and was known for her quilts and was also known for donating a quilt every year for veterans and she also donated lap quilts to local nursing homes. Judy was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Sedan. Judy enjoyed spending time with her husband Corkey taking vacations, dancing, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ora “Corkey” Wade; one son Marty Wade and one sister, Jewel Flemming. Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Tom Springer, Havana; Rocky Springer, Havana; Jason Wade, Independence; three daughters, Debbie (Tony) Morrison, Caney; Dorothy “Pete” (Paul) Murphy, Havana; Jessica Britton, Independence; one sister, JoAnn; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
