All About Kids is hosting an End of Summer Bash Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at Independence High School, 1301 N. 10th St.

The family-friendly event will feature activities, prizes and health screenings, and the Independence and high school and middle school K.A.Y. Clubs will provide breakfast and lunch for a minimal charge. Screenings available include a free Sure Site Vision Screening by the Independence Lions Club, free dental checks and fluoride applications from the Community Health Center of SEK, free health screenings for height and weight provided by Independence Family Medicine/Wilson Medical Center and sports physicals are available from Community Health Center of SEK. The sports physicals will be free to those who have no insurance, otherwise, insurance companies of students will be billed.

New to the event this year are bounce houses to keep the little ones entertained.
