Revolutionary War exhibit comes to IHMAC

The Esther Lowrey Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are bringing the DAR’s traveling Revolutionary War exhibit to the Independence Historical Museum and Art Center. The exhibit, which allows viewers to experience the Revolutionary War through the stories of the Patriots that lived it, will be open May 18-25 during regular business hours. The cost for entry is free for museum members and $5 for non-members.

XI EPSILON ETA CHAPTER OF BETA SIGMA PHI The Independence Xi Epsilon Eta chapter of the International Social Sorority Beta Sigma Phi met Tuesday evening, May 7. Billie Jo Campbell and Kay Hensley hosted the meeting at Crossroads Church with six members in attendance.

First Presbyterian Church members will serve the CUFF Dinner Thursday, May 16, at the Wesley Center, located at 111 East Maple Street, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meal will be drive thru/walk-up style pick up on the west side of the center. The meal will consist of lasagna, carrot sticks, applesauce, rolls and cookies. Everyone is invited to attend and a free will offering will be accepted.
